I'm in Orleans ON. My double garage door torsion spring snapped around 4:45 PM on Friday of the May long- weekend 2017.
After a Google search, checking out several local door repair websites etc., I selected AMPM based on reading the reviews posted for AMPM Garage Door Repair.
I don't always believe posted reviews, so I called to equire. They have a phone response telling the call will be monitored - and before that message finished I had hung up figuring I just got an answering service.
Minutes later "Laura" from AMPM called to say "she had seen my call and did I need assistance etc?" Yes I did! A good initiative on her part, I must say
True to their word about 24/7 service, a technician arrived by 6:30 PM and within 30 minutes my door was back to full operation with the same high quality spring ( I hope ) that had lasted me 18 years.
Excellent service, friendly fella, and competitive rates as best as I could tell given the pressure to get the job done the same day.

AMPM service the same day was excellent. Not only did they solve the electronic problem but they also detected a ruty cable and rollers that were on their last legs and replaced them immediately at very reasonable cost. Furthermore they were balanced in advising that the control motor although older was a good one and need not be replaced. Finally gave a two year warranty on all repairs they did. Two friendly servicemen who clearly new what they were doing.
